Taking place at Brooklyn’s Wythe Hotel from February 28 - March 3, 2019, On Air Fest brings audio fans and creators together to explore the art of sound through performances, conversations, listening parties, art installations, live podcasts, and more.

PKPR organized a press event launch today in New York City for Mozilla’s *Privacy Not Included, a research report and shopping guide identifying which connected products are secure and trustworthy — and which aren’t. The goal: help consumers shop for gifts based on not just price and performance but also on how well they protect the privacy and security of their friends and family.

Parcast’s Max Cutler on Forbes 30 Under 30 2019

Congratulations to Max Cutler, founder of Parcast, who was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for 2019.

Forbes writes: “Max Cutler launched Parcast in 2016, aiming to give a mainstream audience an alternative to the podcast market’s quirky comedians and NPR imitators. Parcast’s first two series, “Unsolved Murders” and “Remarkable Lives, Tragic Deaths,” quickly found success, and the network plans to have launched at least 21 shows by the end of March, with 20 being active.”

Knight study: Twitter still awash in fake news accounts

More than 80 percent of accounts that repeatedly spread misinformation during the 2016 election campaign are still active, and they continue to publish more than one million tweets on a typical day, according to a study commissioned by The Knight Foundation released this week.
