The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which teams of filmmakers make a movie�write, shoot, edit and score it�in just 48 hours. In 2008, some 30,000 filmmakers made films in 70 cities around the world. The 2009 festival kicks off in May 2009

48 Hour Film Project in New York Times

Check out the amazing story on The 48 Hour Film Project competition in New York City in today’s New York Times - lead story across front page of Arts Section with several photos on the inside.

This year’s tour kicked off in late April and coverage so far has included in depth features and interviews on WBUR (NPR in Boston), WAMU-FM (NPR in Washington, D.C.) and NBC New York Nightly News

PKPR is managing publicity for the 2009 48 Hour Film Project tour in more than 80 cities around the world.
