
Patrick founded PKPR in 2006 after spending eight years working with Michael Kaminer at MKPR.
Patrick’s work on behalf of PKPR clients has been featured in publications such as The New York Times and PR Week and he has spoken on public relations trends and strategy at conferences such as The Folio Show and Fund Raising Day, the nation’s largest one-day conference on philanthropy.
Patrick served as communication director for U.S. Representative Lynn Woolsey (D-CA) from 1992 to 1997. He began his career managing communications and field operations for congressional and state legislative candidates in New Jersey.
Patrick graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Media. He is a board member of Live Out Loud, a non-profit organization for gay youth, and he remains active in local and national politics.
Ever since she was 10 years old, Ashley would check to see which label an artist was signed to as soon as she received a new CD. That early fascination with the behind-the-scenes workings of the music industry inspired Ashley to pursue a career in public relations. During college, Ashley fulfilled her passion through internships in the publicity departments of EMI and Sony Music. More recently, Ashley completed an internship with The Karpel Group, an LGBT marketing company, where she sharpened her skills in social media and publicity working on campaigns for Nickelodeon, Fire Island Pines, and other clients.
At PKPR, Ashley supports several accounts, including SpaFinder, Arts World Financial Center, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Gramercy One, and Slavery Footprint.
Ashley received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Master’s degree for Corporate and Organizational Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is involved in New York Women in Communications and continues to be active in the music community.
Jenny is a senior account executive leading accounts including SpaFinder, zozi.com, The Webby Awards, FashionPlaytes.com, The Dayton Literary Peace Prize, and the 48 Hour Film Project.
She started at PKPR in 2006 as an account coordinator assisting senior staff and also spent a year doing restaurant publicity where she gained invaluable experience working with major clients including Delmonico’s, Brick Lane Curry House (of Man v. Food fame), and Crema Restaurante.
Prior to working at PKPR, Jenny interned with Bragman Nyman Cafarelli Public Relations in Los Angeles, where she gained experience in Corporate and Entertainment Public Relations by working with clients such as PlayStation, T-Mobile and Klipsch. She is a graduate of SUNY Oswego with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations.

As Account Coordinator, Alisa works with the PKPR team on accounts such as The Webby Awards, FashionPlaytes.com, SpaFinder, The 48 Hour Film Project, and Internet Week New York.
Alisa is a graduate of Baruch College at the City University of New York, where she earned her BA in Corporate Communications with a specialization in Public Relations. She joined PKPR as an intern while still an undergrad. Prior to PKPR, she interned at PFF Entertainment.

Gretchen Griffin started out in PR at Theatre Communications Group and has accumulated more than a decade’s worth of experience in arts PR, promoting everything from a nonprofit theater magazine to books on Surrealism to indie rock concerts. She and Patrick have been working together to convert the world into arts enthusiasts since they met on the concert committee at RutgersUniversity.
As a Senior Account Executive at PKPR, Jason handles a wide-variety of clients including The Webby Awards, Internet Week New York, Arts World Financial Center, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and River to River Festival.
Prior to joining PKPR, Jason was Communications Director for New York City Councilman David Greenfield, as well as the Founder of Precedent Media Unlimited, an online publicity and marketing firm. With over ten years of experience in public relations, Jason has handled book publicity campaigns for Barack Obama, Tom Daschle, Gene Simmons, Chuck Palahniuk, Nick Hornby, Dan Ariely, Mo Rocca, William Safire, David Brock, John Grisham, and The Onion. He was also the publicist for two Pulitzer Prize winning books, David Oshinsky’s “Polio” and David Hackett Fischer’s “Washington’s Crossing.”
Jason is also the award-winning blogger behind Product Shop NYC, which was named “Best Local Music Blog” by the Village Voice and one of “Our 100 Favorite Blogs” by PC Magazine.
