EARTH FROM ABOVE is an outdoor exhibition of large-scale aerial photographs by renowned French photographer and environmentalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The free, eight-week exhibition will take place in New York City in 2010. The event is expected to draw more than two million to the Battery Park City area over the course of two months. Picture Earth, the event’s U.S. producer, will then bring the exhibit to San Francisco and Los Angeles in 2010.

Earth From Above

PKPR is managing publicity for Earth From Above, a major outdoor exhibition of large-scale aerial photographs by renowned French photographer and environmentalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

The free, eight-week exhibition will makes its NYC debut at the World Financial Center Plaza and along the Battery Park City Esplanade from May 1, 2009 to June 28, 2009. The exhibit, produced by Picture Earth, will then travel to San Francisco and Los Angeles in 2010. Pi

To announce the exhibition, PKPR secured stories in outlets such as The New York Times , Los Angeles Times, MSNBC.com, and The Huffington Post, as well as a major exclusive feature in The Boston Globe’s wildly popular Big Picture Blog (which was recently dubbed “Brilliant Highbrow” on New York Magazine’s Approval Matrix). The Big Picture feature has generated coverage across the web—from Treehugger and Discover Magazine to Kotke.org and Towleroad.
