We got a little thrill when Lin-Manuel Miranda took home the Tony last night for “In the Heights”. His hip-hop improv group, Freestyle Love Supreme, was a regular act at Ars Nova when we worked with the Hells Kitchen theater back in 2006.
Don’t miss his speech. It brought down the house.
